I am an Accredited, Independent Residential Energy Performance Certificate provider, based in Warrington, Cheshire.
As you are aware as a result of new government legislation, from the 1st October 2008, it will be mandatory for all landlords to make an Energy Performance Certificate available to prospective tenants, as part of the lettings process. Failure to do so will incur a fine and may make your Tenancy Agreements invalid. Once prepared, an Energy Performance Certificate is valid for ten years.
It is really essential that landlords plan ahead, particularly those with large portfolios. There are a limited number of Energy should ensure that they are not risking an extended void period through lack of a valid Energy Performance Certificate.
I am able to provide a flexible seven days a week service.
Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm
Week-ends 10am to 3pm.
The cost of the certificates start from £67.50, discount is available for 5 or more instructions. The cost covers a detailed site survey by an Accredited Energy Assessor, EPC lodgement fee with an accreditation scheme and Government Landmark Register fee and a hard copy of the Energy Performance Certificate. I aim to produce the certificate within 3 working days of visit.
