I am a fully qualified Spanish Tutor, a Member of the Chartered Insitute of Linguists for 25 years, holding a PCGE in Lifelong Learning from Bath Spa University.
Living and working bi-lingually in Spain for many years has given me the experience necessary to work with Spanish for Business purposes, as well as for leisure, such as gap-years for the intrepid who want sufficient language to enjoy "0ff the beaten Track" travel worldwide. Increasingly my work is with those who wish to move to sunnier climates and those who have time to learn whilst their properties are being built.
I also offer assistance with GCSE Spanish, either in the form of exam revision sessions, or for conversation practice to improve confidence in oral exams.
After an initial discussion, we formulate a tailor-made programme to meet either the individual or group's needs. The advantage to the students is obvious, as they have a strong influence on their own learning and means we can experiment with different learning styles to find that which is best suited to the individuals involved and can tailor the sessions accordingly.
I have recently added TEFL qualifications to assist in teaching English as a Foreign Language, specialising in one-to-one tuition and Business English.
I am prepared to travel within a 40 mile radius of home, although travelling expenses will be included in the fees.
