The Icarus Project was formed in 2007 to provide businesses and their employees with a range of interim management and mentoring services focused on revenue improvement, profitable growth and personal development.
Our programme typically follows 3 key phases:
Phase 1. The Business Development Analysis Process The analysis programme is a critical part of the process and is designed to build a solid understanding of your business and the key objectives. We will then, through detailed evaluation of the sales infrastructure and performance, identfiy exactly what developments are required to ensure they are totally aligned to the business.
This analysis phase typically lasts 1-2 weeks and is the perfect foundation for the Business Develpment Mentoring Programme
Phase 2. The Business Development Mentoring Programme The Business Development Mentoring Programme is a tailored service based upon the results of the business development analysis and is focused on increasing sales effectiveness to achieve revenue improvement and profitable growth.
Depending upon the output of the business development analysis, the mentoring programme typically lasts between 3 and 6 months, over 2 or 3 days per week and may include some or all of the services highlighted below.
Phase 3. Continued Management and Delivery This final phase focuses on the ongoing management and control of the new infrastructure through efficient reporting programmes and communication channels.
This may involve a formal handover to the management team at the end of the contract, but increasingly businesses are taking advantage of the reduced cost and flexibility of interim contracts over traditional forms of executive recruitment.
